Real problems, mediocre solutions.

A few of the custom apps and websites we've built for charter schools, nonprofits, and small businesses across Minnesota — with the actual problem each one was solving.

The problem

Schools, clubs, and parent associations were juggling scattered email lists, private directories, and word-of-mouth to keep their communities in the loop — with no secure place to share information or find the right person.

What we built

A secure, multi-tenant web app built from the database up — role-based access, member directories, an interactive map, announcements, and newsletters, all under one private roof per organization.

The result

A single hub each community actually uses — curators browse the full roster, members find each other by topic, and organizers post once instead of ten times.

The problem

Charter schools were running enrollment, waitlists, lotteries, family communications, and board elections out of a fragile stack of spreadsheets and PDFs — error-prone, hard to audit, and stressful every application season.

What we built

One platform that handles the whole enrollment lifecycle — applications, a fair randomized lottery, waitlist management, seat tracking, guardian messaging, and governance elections — with the numbers always current on one dashboard.

The result

Applicants, enrolled, waitlisted, and open seats at a glance — and a follow-up queue that flags problems like bounced guardian emails before they become a crisis.

The problem

A statewide network of learner-centered educators needed a home — a way to find each other, share what's working, and measure their progress across very different schools and roles.

What we built

A membership platform with a directory and resource library, plus an automated Strength-Indicator survey that gathers input from four different audiences and turns it into a clear picture of each school's strengths.

The result

Schools join, connect, and benchmark themselves — with the survey doing the heavy lifting of collecting and synthesizing feedback automatically.
